  You need to have an AIM id...Yahoo isn't in the picture.

    Actually it works fine with Yahoo, although AIM is a much better network in my personal opinion.

              Yahoo lets you do video, but there's no channel to carry audio, so you still have to type. That's why I rarely use Yahoo. Also, there is a new version of AIM for Windows that lets windows users and Mac users both chat using webcams.
